When Clematis 'Mrs Cholmondeley' begins to flower in June, it's easy to see why the RHS have awarded it an Award of Garden Merit (AGM). This variety of Old Man's Beard produces purple blooms throughout the summer, which measure up to 20cm (8) in diameter.
