Early by name and early by nature, ?Early Sensation? is an early flowering Clematis baring big, scented white flowers with striking yellow-green stamens in the centre, that are followed by pretty little fluffy seed heads. Blooming in April to May, the non-clinging stems will be cloaked in evergreen foliage that before matured is a lovely bronze colour, turning into deeper shades of green as the plant develops. Plant and grow onto an obelisk in a large patio pot, or among other mature shrubs.
